In an "Enhanced Listing," the “enhancement” is the infomercial describing the named manufacturer and his products, with a picture or other graphic, and a live hyperlink to the manufacturer's web site for additional information.

The purpose of the Enhanced Listing is to give specifiers enough information to induce them to include that manufacturer's name in the specification--which is accomplished by simply clicking in the box to the left of the name to select it. If your company's web site includes special services for specifiers that will aid in product selection or specification, your graphic note can include hyperlinks directly to those pages.

The links below lead to samples of Enhanced Listings in SpecLink®, illustrating the many ways BSD can assist your efforts to "get specified" by:

  • Describing the benefits of choosing that particular manufacturer's products.
  • Highlighting a particular product.
  • Describing issues relevant to the type of product.
  • Providing links to other information available on the web.
