BSD gives building product manufacturers the opportunity to explain to SpecLink users the advantages of their products. In the Spring 2011 update, we feature 19 new featured manufacturers plus 3 with significantly revised info.

Carlisle Coatings Carlisle Coatings and Waterproofing, Inc.

A number of Carlisle Coating and Waterproofing systems have been added to SpecLink's existing Sections 07 1300 (07130) - Sheet Waterproofing and 07 1400 (07140) - Fluid-Applied Waterproofing.

In 07 1300 (07130) - Sheet Waterproofing, existing categories of sheet waterproofing have been reorganized and expanded to include self-adhered modified bituminous, self-adhered thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO), butyl rubber, EPDM rubber sheets, PVC membrane, modified bituminous, HDPE/bentonite composite and air gap sheet materials.

This section includes Carlisle's "MiraDRI 860/861" self-adhered, modified bituminous product; their  "MiraPLY-V" and "MiraPLY-H" self-adhering TPO products and their "Sure-Seal" butyl rubber and EPDM products.

In Section 07 1400 (07140) - Fluid-Applied Waterproofing, a number of new products and product categories have been added.

In existing product categories, Carlisle's "CCW 500" leads off the hot-applied rubberized asphalt products and their one-component "CCW 525" and two-component "CCW 703 Liquiseal" products join the cold-applied polyurethane category.

New product categories for cold-applied, modified polymer elastomeric and cold-applied, water based asphalt emulsion waterproofing have been added to Section 07 1400 (07140) and now feature Carlisle's "MiraSEAL" in the first and "Barricoat-R" (for roller application) and "Barricoat-S" (for spray application) in the second.
